What is Alpha?

Alpha is a series of interactive sessions that freely explore the basics of the Christian faith.

Who is Alpha for?

Alpha is for anyone who’s curious. The talks are designed to encourage conversation and explore the basics of the Christian faith in a friendly, open and informal environment. No question is out of bounds and you are free to discuss as much or as little as you wish.

How does it work?

Alpha is ten sessions with the option of a day or weekend away in the middle. Each session includes food, a short talk and a discussion at the end where you can share your thoughts. At any point, if you think Alpha isn’t for you, that’s not a problem. There’s no pressure, no follow up and no charge.

Kingdom Come Prayer

Tuesday, February 9th, 6:30pm
On Tuesday, February 9th, Galilee will be participating in an evening of Kingdom Come prayer which is an invitation to pray with other Christians in unity for the Church and the world. This in person prayer service will be held in the sanctuary and masks are mandatory. We have been working diligently with the Diocese for a safe way to meet in small groups of family ‘bubbles’ seated together, while adhering to appropriate social distancing procedures. If you would like to attend please sign up here. If you have any questions please email moc.liamg@r8nhtur.

Even though using “lorem ipsum” often arouses curiosity due to its resemblance to classical Latin, it is not intended to have meaning. Where text is visible in a document, people tend to focus on the textual content rather than upon overall presentation.
