Dr. Benson Fraser is the Westminster Canterbury Fellow of Religious Studies and Lifelong Learning at Virginia Wesleyan University in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Dr. Fraser earned his Masters of Divinity from Fuller Theological Seminary, his Masters of Arts in Psychology from Pepperdine University, his Masters of Arts in Communications from California State University, Fullerton, and his Doctoral of Philosophy in Intercultural Communication from the University of Washington. He has authored several journal articles and book chapters on intercultural communication, theology and communication, and media effects. He recently published a book on indirect communication called Hide and Seek: The Sacred Art of Indirect Communication. Dr. Fraser is a partner and consultant of Brown, Fraser & Associates, a communication research firm in Chesapeake, Virginia. He and his partner, Dr. William J. Brown, have conducted more than 100 national media studies in more than 40 countries. Ben assists at Galilee with adult formation.
